How to Create Money Making Blogs

There are plenty of money making ventures around these days, especially when it comes to the Internet. One method of making good money online is via blogs. Some blogs are created simply to get information out to the general public with no strings attached whereas other blogs are created more as a money making venture. The following will highlight some ways to create money making blogs and be well on your way to garnering an income through this lucrative job opportunity.

Search for Popular Topics on Which to Base the Blog Around

One of the best ways to ensure that your blog is a money making blog is to choose a topic which people are interested in reading about. Since most money making blogs are made so by the number of individuals who visit the site, it is important to pick a subject which individuals are interested in and which will drive them towards your particular blog. Some ways to figure out what topics are popular at the moment include searching for the answers online through popular search results, inquiring with others as to what they like to read about on blogs and reviewing some of the more popular blogs online.

Use Affiliate Programs

There are quite a few different ways to make money via your blogs however affiliate programs provide one of the main ways to do so. Affiliate programs consist of an arrangement between the blog owner and outside companies. The outside company will post a link to their company on your blog and you will get a certain payment amount every time an individual buys something from the outside company from using the link to get there. The rate of return will vary depending on the company, percentage of sale amount and item purchased, however, this is a great way to create money making blogs which does not take a lot of work on your part.

Pay Per Click Programs

Pay per click programs provide another way for bloggers to turn their blogs into money making blogs. Pay per click programs consist of companies posting their advertisements on your blog and you will get paid a certain amount every time the blog visitor clicks on the ad. Pay per click programs as with affiliate programs provide a wonderful way for bloggers to do very little and get paid simply by having their blog up and running.

Constantly Update Your Blog Content

In order for the two aforementioned programs to work and turn your everyday blogs into money making blogs, you have to keep your blog content constantly updated. The beauty of blogs is that the blog owners post new information for the masses to read. If a regular reader of your blog visits it and finds that the news is stale, they will move on to other blogs and may never return. This may turn what was once a money making blog into a stagnant one.

Use Keywords in Your Blog Content

You should also be sure to use a requisite amount of keywords in your blog content. Doing so will ensure that you get regular website traffic by individuals who are interested in the information you have posted. This in turn may lead them to click on the ads and purchase items from affiliate program partners. The keyword density which you use on your blog will depend on which search engine programs you hope to draw your visitors from but this can easily be found out simply by visiting the websites of the search engine companies and reviewing their guidelines.

Zero Investment Internet Marketing Techniques – The Who Loves Money Buzz Review

Seems like every time you turn around someone is hawking the latest and greatest new internet marketing ebook that is sure to make you rich. If you’re an internet marketer chances are really good that you’ve been burned at least once by an ebook that was all fluff and absolutely useful information. Or worse yet, the author, deliberately or not, leaves out a step that leaves you scratching your head over how to execute what you did learn. It’s enough to make you scream if you’re really serious about learning how to build an online business.

By now you’ve heard the Who Loves Money buzz. It’s the new ebook from Kyle & Carson, Wealthy Affiliate founders, that are claiming they can teach you how to make money online with zero investment internet marketing techniques. It claims to blow the lid off the current internet marketing theories that have been around for decades. The start up costs are supposed to be minimal and there are some techniques which require no money at all.

Most folks are thinking that it’s just another internet marketing ebook. That’s a true enough statement. However, the Who Loves Money buzz claims are that it’s different in the fact that although the techniques presented are not necessarily brand new, these zero investment internet marketing techniques are said to be explored in depth and then explained in a way that is supposed to be easy to understand as well as easy to apply.

If you’re new to internet marketing, then you should know that a number of standard website promotion techniques can get very expensive. If you aren’t sure what you’re doing, you could end up costing yourself money rather than making any. Here are some examples of what can be considered zero investment marketing techniques.

Niche Hunting – Deciding what topic to base your website on can be difficult. Building a site about a topic you enjoy doesn’t necessarily mean that you can make a profit. You must learn how to choose a niche that has good profit potential.

Selection of Niche Keywords – You may have picked out a profitable niche, but if you target the wrong keywords for your webpages, you have just shot yourself in the foot. There is an art to selecting the keywords that will turn visitors into customers.

Affiliate Product Selection – You need to be able to review and select an appropriate product to promote on your site. A great website and a lousy affiliate product equals not many sales or lots of refunds. Refunds equal revoked commissions and that’s something you don’t want to happen.

Article Marketing – Writing topic based articles, usually 300-700 words, and submitting them to article directories. While this seems very easy, there is most definitely a specific technique to making it effective and productive.

Zero investment internet marketing techniques are not the hot new thing. They’ve been around for quite a while now, but are currently getting lots of attention. The Who Loves Money buzz is definitely building, but whether or not this ebook lives up to its claims still remains to be seen.

Seven Reasons Why You Should Be Using Mozilla Firefox

For several years, Mozilla’s Firefox has been steadily gaining ground on its more established rival Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Despite the fact that its development is entirely open-sourced, the project has consistently introduced innovative ways to improve the safety and functionality of the browser that you use to surf the internet.

These positive changes have given Mozilla a platform to develop its browser further and its popularity continues to increase. The Firefox browser is downloaded over 500,000 times a day and the project currently enjoys around 12% of the market share. So why should you choose Mozilla Firefox over its more established rival. Quite simply, it is a better browser.

Due to the popularity of the Firefox browser, Microsoft sought to combat this in its latest version of Internet Explorer by including some of Firefox’s innovations such as tabbed browsing, an integrated search engine and a built in pop-up blocker. Nonetheless, Firefox still has many more benefits and Microsoft has as yet not built a browser that matches it.

So here are seven reasons why you should choose Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

Firefox is a faster browser: Studies show that the internet explorer browser does not load a page quicker then Firefox. The latter uses fewer resources and can be tweaked to make the best use of the computer’s capabilities.

Firefox is a safer browser: Despite the many improvements made in the latest version of Internet Explorer (version 7), there are still many security issues related to the browser. Firefox does not use Active X, which can easily be manipulated to spread viruses and spyware. Although Firefox is not completely safe, its track record demonstrates that its developers consider browser security as paramount.

Firefox makes it easier to manage downloads: The Firefox download manager is great because not only does it organize the download information in a single place but you can also pause the download and start it again at a later convenient time.

Firefox is fully customizable: Because Firefox is open source, the browser is capable of being completely flexible. You can change the theme of the browser, design and attach plug-ins that you choose and you can block images. The plug-ins available are great. You can add spell checkers, translators and many other useful applications.

Firefox enables you to clear your data easily: Unlike Internet Explorer, the Firefox browser allows you to easily delete all of your private data by pressing one single button. Alternatively, the Internet Explorer browser requires you to manual select cookies, temporary internet files and history in order to clear the data. If you have been using the browser for a long period without clearing it then this can be a cumbersome task.

Firefox gives you comprehensive page data: There is a cool tool built in to Mozilla Firefox that allows you to bring up the data about the current website that you are visiting. You can visit the links that are present, the date the page was last modified and other interesting information. Firefox will also allow you to view the source code for the website. This is great for web developers.

Firefox allows you to block images: Should you visit a site that has lots of images on it, for example adverts then Firefox allows you to block any images specific to that site. This is great as it improves the speed that it takes for the website to load. Internet Explorer does not have this functionality.

Web 2.0: The Second Generation of the Internet

Our world is continually changing, and this includes our online world. With advances in technology, we now have what has been termed as Web 2.0. This is essentially technology that is available in what many consider the ’second generation’ of the Internet.

Did you know that the second generation of computer users is now online? Many people don’t think about it – but they are. Personal computers started appearing in the mid 1990s. Now, approximately twelve years later, those children who grew up with computers are now – well – computing. They use computers a great deal in both their careers and personal lives – more so than the first generation of computer users did. They are the second generation, and it is only fitting that we now have Web 2.0 concepts.

Web 2.0 is indeed a concept. It is not software that you can buy. It is not an updated version of software. It is more of an updated way of doing things on the Internet. Think about how we used computers back in the 1990s. We ’surfed’ the web, using web browsers, and we read content. We were able to purchase and download software, which we could use. We could interact with others on a limited basis through instant messengers, email, and online forums. That was pretty much the extent of it.

Today, however, so much has changed. Instead of visiting a web site and reading it, we can actually interact with it. We have been given a voice with blogs. We can let our opinions of web sites be known through the use of social bookmarking. We can interact with people all over the world through social networking sites. We can even have a complete web site up and running in as little as one day, where at one time it took weeks or even months to develop a web site. Things have definitely changed. Welcome to Web 2.0.

While Web 2.0 is not a specific thing, there are specific concepts and specific technology that make up the whole Web 2.0 concept. The main concept of Web 2.0 is interactivity. People simply are not satisfied with simply reading a web page. They want to be able to interact with it. This is why so many web sites today use features that allow visitors to leave comments or to rate content – or even to submit their own content.

Technology that has been employed by the online masses include blogging, social bookmarking, and of course, social networking. Sites that cater to this technology have become extremely popular. Even video has become a big part of Web 2.0 with sites, such as YouTube.com, where anyone with a computer and Internet connection can upload their videos for others to see. We can keep running lists of our favorite sites with social bookmarking, and communicate with others, while expressing ourselves, with social networking sites. We are no longer content to simply ’surf the ‘net’ in a mindless fashion.

Of course, smart Internet Marketers go where the masses lead them – because they know that where people gather, there is money to be made. Internet Marketers are also taking advantage of social bookmarking, social networking, video sites, blogging, and more.

They realize that the entire Web 2.0 concept, and all of the technology that goes along with it, is not just a passing phase. In fact, if anything, smart marketers are keeping their ears and eyes open for signs of Web 3.0 – when the next generation brings us even further into the technological future.

If you are an online business owner who would also fall into the ’second generation’ of computer users, you probably already know how to make use of Web 2.0 technology. However, if you are a first generation computer user, it is vital to the future of your business that you get a grasp on Web 2.0, and understand how this second generation, and the generations to come, will use the Internet.

Easy Way To Make Money Fast Without Help

It doesn’t take a lot of knowledge to make money on the Internet today.Unfortunately, some people never get started to make money online because they are so afraid of what they do not know about using the Internet.

It does take a least one or two Internet marketing skills to drive traffic to a website. However there are numerous ways that people make money in affiliate marketing and really know very little about everything going on in their business.

This makes affiliate marketing an easy way to make money fast without a lot of help. The affiliate merchant already provides everything for you. You do not have to build a website since the merchant has built it for you.

The product is already created so you do not have to develop a product. The payment processing is in place so you not have to arrange for that. The merchants even handle the shipping so you don’t have to ship the products either.

If the customer needs help for any reason they even provide customer service. And they offer training on how to become successful as affiliate marketers.

This training is archived online so you can access it anytime you want 24 hours a day. You could make a full time living with affiliate marketing and never ever talk to anybody.

A new concept known as instant pay affiliate programs is one reason you can make money fast with this business model. With this concept you need to have a PayPal account to have your payments deposited into.

You join the affiliate program and promote your PayPal URL. Every time someone makes a purchase you earn your commission instantly.

You have to watch out because this can become a very addictive way to make money. It’s extremely exciting to watch payments go directly into your PayPal account every day.

One of the ways people use affiliate marketing to make money fast is by building an email list. Purchasing leads is a quick way to build your list and that can be done with a lead program known as co-registration leads.

Many affiliate programs will even provide content for your autoresponder for you. You don’t even have to write the autoresponder messages. You just paste in the ones pre written for you.

As you can see with affiliate marketing you are getting plenty of help in an indirect way. Because of all the support that is already in place for you this is a great business model to make money fast.

Internet Providers In My Area – A Comparison

As I assist people in signing up for Satellite Internet Providers, I sometimes forget how much time and aggravation the rural consumer goes through to find a High Speed Internet Provider in their area.

Here are a few tips and comparisons that may shorten, and hopefully solve some of the headaches associated with trying to find a Broadband Internet Provider.

Cable Internet Providers

Cable Internet providers usually have Internet speeds around 5-megabytes or 5,000-kilobytes. Some of the more well-known providers are Cox, Charter and Comcast. Mainly, these companies will always attempt to bundle all of their services (television, phone and Internet). I would strongly caution against bundling services and here is why. In order to get any type of price break on anything through a cable company, you will be required to carry multiple services. Discontinue one of them and except to have your rates immediately skyrocket. If you have a cable outage, (the average cable company loses service approximately 23-hours per year), you run the risk of being without Internet, television and phone. Cable companies as many of you know are not regulated by anyone and often raise rates regardless of any promotion you may be in.

DSL Service Providers

DSL service providers offer wide ranging speeds, very much faster than dialup providers, but not quite as fast as cable providers. DSL speeds are usually in the 3-megabyte range or 3,000-kilobytes. DSL speeds and prices can vary greatly depending on where you live. Prices for part of your town may be higher than other parts, pay attention for that. Some DSL providers are also starting to bundle services, AT&T, Verizon and Qwest are three that will attempt to bundle a combination of Internet, television and phone. Many will only give an advertised promotional price if you bundle services. The prices are usually significanlty higher if you do not. One thing that all DSL providers have in common though, is the need to run their Internet service through your phone lines and will require you to have a lan-based phone line if you don’t already have one. If you go with a DSL provider, you will need to factor the cost of the phone line and taxes, to make sure it makes sense for you.

Wireless Internet Providers

Wireless Providers that require the use of an Air Card are exremely risky. It is impossible to approximate the speed or quality of service. I have personally spoken to countless people who have paid as much as $60.00 to start up with a Wireless provider to find out that they live too far from a cell tower to receive the speeds that were being advertised and in some cases too far to receive a solid signal period.

Satellite Internet Providers

Satellite Internet is a fast growing solution for many rural Americans. The two most popular providers are HughesNet and WildBlue. HughesNet offers speeds of 1-megabyte (1000-kilobytes) to 5-megabytes (5000-kilobytes) and is priced according to the speed you choose. WildBlue speeds range from 512-kilobytes to 1.5-megabytes, (approximately 10 to 30 times faster than dialup). Although HughesNet offers faster and wider ranging speeds than Wild Blue, Hughes is significantly more money to start up and the monthly costs put this service out of range for many families. The speeds though make HughesNet a popular option for businesses. When it comes to service in your home WildBlue is the hands down most popular choice among rural customers. Lower upfront and monthly costs make it a perfect solution for dial-up customers just looking to go faster and get more out of their Internet.

Hopefully this will help a few of you out there just trying to find the right service for you and your family. To sum up, cable and DSL providers will have fast speeds, but will in most cases require other services be added to get the kind of pricing they advertise. Avoid altogether Wireless Providers, great idea, but way too risky. If you are in a rural location where cable and DSL don’t or won’t provide service, than Satellite Internet Service is the way to go.

No matter what service you choose, it should solve your Internet needs, be cost friendly, work the way it is advertised to work, and above all, be the right fit for you and your family.

African Americans Are Embracing Internet Business

There has been strong growth among black people in America when it comes to use of the Internet. Yet African-American adults are still far behind their peers in other ethnic groups. This surge in Internet use has been driven by women in the black community. Black women have embraced Internet business with a passion and have no problem whipping out their debit cards to spend. What is it that the African American man in general finds unattractive about the Internet?

Also, the African-American Internet population is younger and a higher proportion of users without college diplomas. When African-Americans go online they are looking for info that is immediately beneficial to their lives such as looking for a new job or car. Entertainment features online are also popular, which is most likely a result of the relative youthfulness of the African-American Internet population. Because of the inexperience of the average African-American user, the Web has not been fully integrated into his or her daily life. African-Americans are less likely to use the Internet on a daily basis and also spend less time online than other groups.

Combine phenomenal increases in buying power, a growing population, and rising penetration into Internet business and you will find a valuable demographic market that is almost untapped online. The African-American community is becoming a strong online presence, and creating its own unique identity.

Research from the university of Georgia indicates that the nation’s black buying power will surge from $688 billion in 2002 to $921 billion in 2008 when almost nine cents of every dollar spent will be from an African-American consumer. White buying power is expected to reach $8.50 trillion by 2008, representing a 25.9 increase over 2003, while African-Americans tally a 34 percent increase over the same period.

Internet marketers should take notice that most African-Americans read online ads, and 46 percent find them informative compared to 26 percent of the general population. Also, nearly three-quarters of African-Americans say the Internet has had a positive effect on their children. Which brings us back around to the popularity of the internet among black youth.

Just check out the popularity of http://myspace.com with African American youth and you will see the Internet explosion about to happen in the black community in America. Keep in mind how advertising effects the many different cultures around the world and what it takes to advertise to them all. The Internet is global and as everyone gets better adjusted to its use, the stronger the world of e-commerce becomes.

Top 10 Most Popular Websites in the States

Have you ever wondered what the biggest and most popular sites on the web are? Well you shouldn’t wonder because you probably already know what they are. Here is a list taken from Alexa’s ranking system that is 100% correct. Alexa is a website monitoring/ranking site that is extremely accurate and is a good way to check the progress of your blog or website.

The Ten Most Popular Websites are -

1. Google – Google has become the number one search engine site in the world. They get the most traffic everyday. I personally have them as my homepage and I’m sure 90% of all Internet users use them at least a few times a week.

2. Yahoo! – Yahoo used to be number one, but recently in the past few years lost it’s lead to Google. Yahoo is a fantastic search engine and is known as a top search engine competitor.

3. Myspace – Everyone who is Hip has a Myspace. It’s a great way to stay in contact with friends and a great time killer. Tom(the owner) must be filthy rich now.

4. YouTube – Who doesn’t visit YouTube when there bored? YouTube just recently in the past two to three years became so popular. It’s a great site to host home made videos on and has millions of postings of every category you can think of.

5. Facebook – Facebook is getting very close to myspace status. Facebook is a little bit more mature looking than myspace and is directed toward college students mainly. I prefer Facebook over myspace.

6. Windows Live – Well windows live has been around a long time, but now it contains many different things, from Hotmail accounts to online video game accounts, Live is all about Microsoft.

7. MSN – A good search engine and ISP. They have been around a while and are still maintaining one of the top websites, good job MSN.

8. Wikipedia – I truthfully never go to Wikipedia unless Google takes me to it when I’m trying to find help for college work, but it’s a great informational site with listings about almost everything.

9. Ebay – The top Internet auction site, I’m surprised it’s not higher on the list. People make their livings off this site and it has established it’s name as the number 1 Auction site ever.

10. AOL – I’m actually surprised people still go to the AOL website. They used to be the best ISP out, but it has been a while since I’ve heard anything from them. Although I do use AIM (AOL instant messenger) it doesn’t require me to go to their site much. Congrats AOL for still being top 10.

Advantages of Wireless Internet

Wireless internet or Wi-Fi is one of the latest developments in providing people with Internet access whenever they need it – even while traveling. This is a convenient way to stay connected with family members or business clients anytime of the day.

With the fast evolution and advancement of the Internet, millions of people all over the world make use of the Internet in their daily life. The internet offers a lot of useful information such as weather forecast, entertainment, research, music, news, online shopping, and many more. The Web also provides a more convenient way for people to communicate with others even in far away countries.

Businesses are also dependent on the Internet in dealing with their clients whether local or abroad. They too are kept posted with the trends as well as stock updates though the Net. They also use corporate e-mails in nearly all of their correspondence. Customer services and technical support of many companies also rely on the power of internet. Indeed, the Internet had become a necessity for ordinary people as well as business people.

Because of enormous growth of dependency on the Internet, people want to have internet connection even when on the go. This is now possible through the development of wireless Internet. Wireless Internet is popularly known as Wi-Fi, which is the trade name of this kind of wireless technology. A wireless Internet access is commonly called as hot spot in which a LAN or local area network transmits radio waves as opposed to a wired network.

Internet connection is broadcast with the use of a central hub connected to a computer system that functions as the server. The server broadcasts the signal to clients which have Wi-Fi capable devices such as desktop computers, PDAs, laptops, mobile phones, game consoles, and many more electronic gadgets. The wireless internet covers diverse IEEE 802.11 advanced technologies such as 802.11n, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11a.

A home network can be set with wireless Internet, as well. This is done through the utilization of a router which performs as an access point. The router broadcasts Internet connectivity to Wi-Fi enabled devices within its area of reach. With this set of connections, anyone from the family can make use of their laptops or desktops and can gain access to the Internet.

What’s more, wireless Internet through home network can also be accessed by neighbors without your knowledge. To resolve this issue, a password security can be configured so that only authorized devices can have access to the network. With the growing risk of security issues, the security protocols for Wi-Fi log on have been made available with the employment of Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and the Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2).

Wireless internet through its public hot spot is being offered for free to its customers by many business establishments. These establishments include internet cafes, food chains, coffee shops, hotels, and restaurants. Some airports also provide the same service for travelers’ convenience. These features are becoming very prevalent in many places and countries. There are also a number of cities which provide wireless Internet access to their residences and visitors. Since the hot spot can cover only a certain area, you have to be within the range of the hub in order to log on to the Web.

Significantly, a wireless Internet is of great advantage compared to wired network. Wired network usually consumes a lot of time in order to set up in a building or house. It also entails more expenses as it requires a lot of UTP cables to be wired for each of a client’s computers. In some instances, there is a need to route wires through thick wall or ceilings. Wireless LANs can be deployed easily and is less expensive. More clients can be added to the network without the necessity for extra materials.

Since 2008, many of the latest laptops and gadgets come with a built in wireless network device. There are also a lot of gadgets which can be applied for computers or laptops that do not have any wireless network device. Some of these devices are the USB Wi-Fi adapters, PCI wireless adapters, PCMCIA Wi-Fi cards and other similar devices. There are also wireless repeaters used to extend the range of signal of any existing wireless network. This device is ideal for locations having many physical barriers like thick walls and in cases where there is a need to share the Internet in two separate buildings.
